Up for sale here is a used, in excellent condition 32”/29oz. 2020 Louisville Slugger Meta BBCOR Baseball Bat. I am the original purchaser of this bat. This bat was used for 1 season of 16U travel baseball in the Summer of 2020 - which was 84 plate appearances - and in around 6 high school games in the late Spring of 2021 (month of May). It has also been used in a few BP sessions - perhaps 4-5 sessions with 30-40 hits in each session. For the ‘21 summer travel ball season, my son decided to switch back to his 32/29 LS Prime 918. He did so because the Prime 918 swings a little heavier than the Meta, and he was looking to use a little heavier bat…given some swing tendencies he has, that he was trying to address.
This bat has only been used to hit REAL leather baseballs, and has not touched a dimpled batting-cage ball or any weighted training balls. When not in use, the bat has only been stored in the house — never in the trunk of the car or in the garage. The 3FX Connection Piece is fully in place and tight, and the original stock grip is still in pretty good condition. Keep in mind that the 32” model of this bat is still legal for both high school and college play.
I’m selling this bat because my son is likely done playing summer baseball, as he’s entering his senior year in high school…AND since we live in OH, he mostly uses a 2-piece, aluminum-barreled bat during the high school season (except for warmer days in May).
This bat is an absolute beast — it’s everything that it’s advertised to be: is super balanced, stiff on contact, has a monster barrel, produces an unreal sound (different than any other bat…), has a wonderful, smooth feel and generates high exit velocity!
