    Guillaume Delisle, also spelled Guillaume de l'Isle, was a French cartographer known for his popular and accurate maps of Europe and the newly explored Americas.
    Depicts routes of various explorers including Magellan (1520), Mendana (1568 and 1595), St. Antoine (1710) and more
    toning and extensive foxing to map and mat; water damage to mat along lower edge; scattered accretions to map and mat; light wear to frame.
