Here is a pair of vintage overalls (romper) from Holly-Tots by Irene of Hollywood: Gold/mustard yellow color with embroidered fabric horse trim. Front bodice pockets, side button closure (both sides), and button-front overall straps. Fabric is thick, woven cotton. This item is the classic vintage style where the top of the pants cut high up into the bodice/chest area; extremely wide/roomy legs. This item dates from the 1950s era, perhaps slightly earlier.
No manufacturer size tag; based upon current day measurements it is likely size eighteen (18) months to 2T, perhaps a tad larger. Here are the measurements on the EXTERIOR of the item:
- Length (top of shoulder strap to pants hem) is 26.75 inches.
- Hip on ONE side only is about 13.5 inches (total 27 inches). This measurement will vary depending upon the size/height of your child.
- Waist measurement is near to "free" because there is no actual waist to the garment. Consider the waist measurement to be near to the above hip measurement, noting that this item is meant to have a loose look/feel.
