case yellows when exposed to sunlight, heat or certain chemicals. This process is caused by natural chemical degradation and is irreversible, you also can't get rid of the
yellowing
by bleaching it.  Our King Starboard is marine proven and fits very snugly on the gauge.  The rigidness helps with protect the gauge and will maintain its clean look over time.  King Starboard isn't as easy to machine but we take the time to get the fitment right and make sure these covers will fit perfectly and keep you gauges protected.
